The Coalition for the Advancement of Medical Research (CAMR) is the nation's leading bipartisan pro-cures coalition. Comprised of more than 100 nationally recognized patient organizations, universities, scientific societies, and foundations, CAMR’s advocacy and education outreach focuses on developing better treatments and cures for individuals with life-threatening illnesses and disorders.
More than 100 million Americans suffer from cancer, Alzheimer's, diabetes, Parkinson's, spinal cord injuries, heart disease, ALS, and other debilitating diseases and disorders. CAMR is dedicated to being a national, collective voice on Capitol Hill and in the media for those who believe that medical and scientific research, including embryonic stem cell research, holds the key to providing American families with hope for the future.
